Cathy's Photographs
I enjoy taking pictures, both of places that I visit and of my
family. I also enjoy genealogy (check out my genealogy pages)
and have been working on copying and preserving some of the very
old photos I have of my family, some dating from before 1900.
When I take my photographs, I usually use an SLR with a 28-70
mm lens, but sometimes I use +1, 2, and 3 close-up lenses or an
80-200 mm lens. I have exhibited some of my photos in the Northwest
International Exhibition of Photography at the Western Washington
State Fair. This Exhibition, approved by the Photographic Society of
America, has been held since 1937 in conjuction with the Western
Washington State Fair (also known as the Puyallup Fair). The Exhibition
attracts many international exhibitors. For more information, contact
the Photo Salon Superintendent, Western Washington
Fair, PO Box 430, Puyallup, WA 98371-0162, USA.
I'm not the only one in my family
that likes to take pictures.
My parents, Joyce and Ainsley Dixon,
enjoy visiting lighthouses all over the world and photographing
them. My son,
Casey,
likes to take, develop, and print his own photos.
The following photographs are just a few of the many, many, many
pictures I have taken. I hope you enjoy them.
Here are some other pictures I hope you enjoy:
