Hi. I'm Corin Anderson, although most folks call me Corey. Or, "Doctor": I graduated with my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Washington in June 2002. If you're at this page from my home page, I'm the guy on the left in the picture -- the little squirt next to me is a cousin.
These days, I keep busy as a software engineer at Google. I live in Mountain View, CA, a stone's throw from work, and enjoy getting everywhere I need to be by bike. I enjoy long runs in the morning; biking during the day and on weekends; photography and board games (of the Settlers of Catan ilk) when I have the chance; and hanging out with friends anytime. I used to live in Tukwila, WA. I went to Thorndyke elementary school, Showalter middle school, and Foster high school. I attended Highline Community College while at Foster and graduated with an AA degree on the even of my high school commencement. And my brother and Mom graduated from Highline CC at the same time. The local news people wrote some nice words about our accomplishment.
After Highline, I headed to the UW for undergrad and graduate degrees. Nine years later, I left with my Ph.D. Yay!
