Street signs are metal plates tacked to the sides of buildings and walls near street corners. They list the district in the city ["I. ker." means District (kerülets) one (Roman numeral)] and neighborhood [Tabán] on the first line and the street name on the second. Utca translates as street (and abbreviated as u.) and út as road. The list line shows the addresses on this block.
