Old Town is on Castle Hill, and is within the old walls around the palace and the hill. This building facade was very typical of what I saw in Old Town and much of Budapest. The stucco facing has fallen or worn off in many places. The lower windows are guarded by iron grills. The colors of the building are mostly drab, but in sharp contrast a handful of windows show colorful flowers along their ledges.
