The plan Sunday afternoon was to visit a beach at Lake Tahoe and play in the water. Yes, we planned to go to a Lake Tahoe beach on possibly the busiest day of the year. We went in two cars and I, Trisha, Melinda, and Wei-Hwa, in the second car, just missed a roll-over accident. It looks worse than it was; no one was injured. It looks like the van pulled over to the side of the road just a little too far, one wheel went up the embankment, and the whole van tipped over. Our car was the second in line just after they stopped traffic for 15 minutes to right the vehicle.
