I was surprised at how much traffic there was coming back on I-80 from Tahoe, Reno, and other points. You can't quite tell from the picture but there's a solid line of cars along the westboard lanes of I-80. We were heading at speed for most of the time but occasionally slowed down to a crawl or stopped once or twice altogether. The return trip took us about 6 hours, give or take, including stopping for food just before the I-580 interchange (and when the traffic got more congested for a short while). Burinng Man was over by this time and we saw many RVs and very dusty cars heading west on I-80 as well.
