The location and puzzle we spent the most time on was at Stanford. Step was was a set of five challenges of Dance Dance Revolution (DDR). Wei-Hwa and Dan are pretty good at DDR, so I dozed during parts of this process. But, the settings were really hard -- the straight DDR scrolled the arrows way faster than I could every follow them. The game Wei-Hwa's playing here is a maze, in which the DDR steps move you in different directions. We spent nearly four hours on this puzzle, partly because it was the wee hours of the morning and we weren't doing anything very quickly, but also partly because GC just had to slow us down because we were eating up puzzles too quickly. Speaking of eating, though, I did get to enjoy a couple of croissants with strawberry cream cheese while waiting for time to pass. A bit of food's always a good way to wake up in the morning.
