Steve is a facing me just in front of the farther flight of stairs and ramps. If you zoom in, you'll see him. Behind looms St. Paul's cathedral. Behind me is the Millenium bridge, a foot bridge that crosses the Thames. The bridge was "unveiled" the night before, with fireworks and a big eye show. But it wasn't open to the public to cross it until the next day, after a ceremonial ribbon cutting. So, Steve and I had to stay on this side of the river. On the plus side, though, we bumped in to the Lord Mayor of London, as he and someone else were walking away from the bridge towards their car on the road. Steve said Hi, and the Lord mayor said hello back. I sort of stayed a safe distance away.
