Steve and I sort of know when the trains leave for Bath -- something like, every hour, on the quarter-hour. It's about 8:00pm, and we feel that we're close to the train station, but we actually have a great deal of trouble actually finding the station! Steve is condifent that we're going in the right direction, but I'm not so sure. In the end, we do find the place, but it's after a great deal of walking, and getting right down to the wire on the time. We dash in to the station about 8:10 and I rush to the luggage check office to pick up our things while Steve finds out about the train. Fortunately, we were a bit wrong about the time -- the train leaves at 8:30. Of course, by now, it's about 8:24 or so, and we're still cramped for time. In the end, though, we get tickets bought and board the train for Bath before it actually pulls out of the station. (Ironically, the conductor doesn't make it to our car before we hop off the train in Bath, some 2 or so hours later. So, we could have saved $80 or so in train fare by taking a calculated gamble. Ah, well.)
