The East side of Gates Hall. They were doing work in the intersection of N/S Mall and Serra Mall, and had construction fences around their work area. Thus, to navigate from Packard to the point where I'm standing, you had to either go through the Gates building, or jump over a little stair arm rail (the rail that I had to jump is behind the wall in the picture, but it's just like the one shown near the bottom of the photo). Going through the building was okay until about 5:00pm or so on Friday, at which time the building was locked, and jumping the rail was the only option. Not very easy for the women in dresses.
