If all goes as to plan, this is where I'll be living for the next while in the Bay Area: The Lamplighter. While on apartment reconnaissance earlier this month, I (and Mom and Dad) found this place while driving along Middlefield Road. We looked at two units, a 2br (#11) and a 1br (#13). I'll be renting the 1br. It's spacious and a bit less per month than the 2br. Here are some preliminary pictures of both units and the complex at large. Below is an aerial view of the complex (from 1990) highlighting the nearby major roads. Costco, Office Max, In-and-Out burgers, and a Crispy Creme doughnut shop is not quite a mile away, north along Rengstorff.
