TGIFrankye

Frankye Jones, the UW CSE department's beloved graduate student advisor, changed jobs at the start of Autumn quarter 2000, after many, many years of service to the department. In honor of Frankye, the graduate students dedicated the first TGIF of the quarter to her, and presented her with gifts and adoration for all she has done for them. Highlights of the material gifts include:

• Two unsigned 8x10 prints of Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan.
• Autographed 8x10 print of Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan Kenobi, on the Star Wars IV set holding a light saber.
• Some books on Northwest plant and flower life.
• A membership to the Arboretum.
• A number of gift certificate to Frankye's favorite stores.
• Several Toy Story II and Looney Tunes figurines.
